120 cm round dining table with a natural marble top and a faceted solid mango wood base.
Altea is the table for anyone who wants genuine stone. Each top is cut from a different block, so the veining and tone of your table will not be repeated in another. The base, carved in facets, gives visual weight and supports the marble on a single column: nobody ends up with a table leg between their knees.
The 120 cm diameter seats 4 people comfortably and 5 for a close meal. The round table encourages conversation and suits square dining rooms, open-plan kitchens and nooks by a window.
We chose it for anyone who wants genuine stone. Each top comes from a different block and the carved base gives it weight without crowding the space: it is the table for a square dining room or an open-plan kitchen.
Zaida Muñoz, interior designer at Zach & Decor
We often pair it with upholstered chairs in cream tones. If you would like a proposal for your dining room, the interior design studio will prepare it for you.
Our interior designer's view: A marble table that won't be repeated in any other home.
Materials and care
- Materials: natural marble top, mango wood base
Marble is porous. Clean with a damp cloth and pH-neutral soap, wipe up acidic liquids (lemon, vinegar, wine) straight away and use coasters. A stone sealer once or twice a year keeps the protection in place.
Specifications
- Dimensions: Ø120 × 77 cm
- Weight: 98 kg
- Marble is a natural material: each top has its own veining and nuances
Pair it with
- Los Angeles Chair: wood and cane that complement the grain without competing with it
- Évora Candlesticks: the centrepiece for a round table
- Mediterránea Dinnerware Set J/18: for tables made for long meals
FAQ
Does a marble table stain?
It can mark with acids if the liquid stays on the surface for a while. With periodic sealing and wiping up straight away, marble ages well and gains a patina over the years.
Is mango wood good for furniture?
Yes. It is a hard, dense wood with marked grain and good stability. It comes from trees that have stopped bearing fruit, so it is a responsible choice.
How many people fit at a 120 cm round table?
Four with plenty of room and five at a squeeze. For six, we recommend a diameter of 140 cm or more.
