Alabaster is a soft, translucent stone that has been hand-carved since antiquity. Its veining, always different, makes each base a unique piece: no two lamps are alike.
The fabric shade diffuses a warm light that doesn't dazzle, designed for reading, for the bedside table or for a point of low light in the living room. Switched off, the stone still decorates.
We chose it for how alabaster works with light: switched on, the stone becomes translucent and reveals its veining. It is the lamp for a chest of drawers, a bedside table or a reading corner.

FAQ
What is alabaster?
A natural mineral, a fine-grained, translucent variety of gypsum with a silky feel. When light passes through it, it turns warm and diffuse, which is why it has been used in lamps for centuries.
Is alabaster the same as marble?
No. Marble is much harder and less translucent. Alabaster is softer, lets light through and needs more care around water and knocks.
Why is each alabaster lamp different?
Because the stone forms naturally and is carved by hand: veining, tones and small marks vary from piece to piece.
Shipping and returns
We ship to Spain (mainland and Balearic Islands), Portugal, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Italy. In Spain shipping costs €19 and is free on orders over €200. To Portugal, France, the Netherlands and Italy it costs €20 up to €50, €45 up to €150 and €60 up to €300; to Switzerland, €30, €55 and €70 (customs included). Orders over €300 ship free to all of them. The lead time for each piece is shown next to the price, and as soon as your order leaves us we email you the tracking number.
You have 30 days from receiving your order to return it. Returns are free for items up to 5 kg; for heavier items we tell you the cost before sending you the label.
