When lit, the line of light runs along the piece and lets you see the ceiling through it: it lights the table without closing in the space.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt has two tones of light: white, cooler, for seeing clearly, and yellow, warm, at 3,000 K, for dinner. It gives up to 1,350 lumens, enough for a dining table seating six to eight. The built-in LED is rated for around 20,000 hours of use.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe chose it for contemporary dining rooms and open kitchens: a line of light that follows the length of the table without blocking the view.
